there was a lot of stuff about hurricane sandy. there are a lot of news stories that we've covered, we've all covered just recently that you want to leave in last year. >> this was a tough year. a lot of things happened this year, so i would imagine a lot of people that were affected by hurricane sandy are going to be getting rid of a lot of memories for that. i think it's a good way to purge and start anew in 2013. >> that's what you want. in the best-case scenario people think of the new year to think about the time as philosophical, what happened, look to the future, how can i make a better life and woormd for the people around me. >> seize the day and kind of plant something for 2013. set a goal and try to accomplish it and make your life better. >> i thought it was funny that sent out the organizers. p.s. good riddance day is not a mass paper shredding event. >> just in case they were confused. is there anything you want to get rid of? >> life has been great for me in 2012. i look forward to a better 2013. >> good riddance to
